An AWD Staff Incentive Scheme – Going the Extra Mile

We cater for an all manner of different budgets and requirements when it comes to a staff incentive scheme for your business. An example of one of our luxury corporate retreats is the La Ferme du Lac Vert.  Below is an itinerary for one of our luxury incentives for employees:

staff incentive schemeA prepossessing 19th Century Savoyard farmhouse, this beautiful retreat is situated in Montriond. The farmhouse was built in 1842 and was restored in 2010 to give it a contemporary, yet cosy feel. The alpine hideaway currently offers 14 en-suite bedrooms across the main house. As well as a ground floor apartment and their sister chalet, La Petite Ferme.

Your journey to the French Alps begins with an early Friday morning flight to Geneva from Heathrow, or a more local airport can be arranged if available. On arrival to Geneva, a transfer is arranged straight to the action at the River Dranse rafting centre. Here a light lunch, detailed safety briefing and wetsuit ‘fitting’ will take place. This is before an afternoon of exhilarating white-water rafting.

The transfer to La Ferme du Lac Vert, offers a well-deserved rest as the journey is chauffer driven in a Lexus RX450h and Toyota Landcruiser. Upon arrival, you will get your first glimpse at the spectacular views over Nantaux Mountain, Morzine and the Dranse valley. After unpacking and settling in, there is free time before dinner to make the most of the farmhouse. So, why not enjoy the hot tub or relax in the lounge area? On Friday evening, meet for pre-dinner drinks and enjoy a delectable dinner, prepared by La Ferme du Lac Verts exceptional chef. After, you can spend the evening on the patio and relax at La Ferme.

Day Two

Day two starts with a plentiful breakfast of cereals, yogurts and fresh juices. Additionally, there’s a selection of cooked breakfasts, including eggs anyway you like with bacon, grilled tomato, beans and sautéed mushrooms. Following breakfast, you will be driven into Morzine where you will be fitted out with your mountain bike. You will also receive the necessary protective equipment to match. Your guide will then meet you and your adventure up into the mountain will begin. This activity offers a chance to see the stunning scenery, as well as a chance to ride down some pistes that you may have skied on in the winter. After lunch, there will be a chance to continue mountain biking. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can tackle the Zip Wire or try out paragliding or take a much-needed break and just relax.

French AlpsThe ‘Fantasticable’ is the only one of its kind in the Alps. The zip wire, located in Chatel at the top of the Chaux Fleurie, reaches speeds of up to 100km/h and stretches along three kilometres. This is an adrenaline packed experience, containing all the correct safety measures including a fully strapped harness. Therefore, you’ll be safe whilst taking in the views in style. Saturday evening will consist of a barbeque at La Ferme du Lac Vert and a chance to bring the group together after an action-packed day.

Day 3

Day 3 is a day spent at Lake Annecy. The mountain spring fed lake is a short drive away and offers a variety of activities including Parcous Aventure. After a mountain climb the group will arrive at Parcous Aventure, a rope park which includes high rope obstacles. You can leap off Tarzan swings and glide down zip-wires, all surrounded by breath taking scenery. After a few hours at Parcous Aventure, lunch will be served down by the lake. This will be followed by activities such as a relaxed lake boat trip, water skiing, paddle boarding or some kayaking.

Day 4

Monday is the 4th and final day of the getaway. It starts with breakfast and a chance to visit a nearby village for some shopping. For those who are still seeking adventure, a final morning of activities can be organised. These range from Segway tours to paragliding. After a final lunch it will be time to say goodbye to the Alps and transfer down to Geneva to catch the late afternoon flight to Heathrow.
